HP Wellness
In 2022, HP partnered with Binah.ai to explore how computer peripherals could become part of a broader wellness ecosystem.
The project centered around an AI-powered webcam capable of measuring health indicators such as heart rate and respiratory data through computer vision. As the UX designer on HP’s accessory management platform, I was responsible for defining the end-to-end wellness experience, including health measurement workflows, data visualization, and ongoing health monitoring.
Solutions
Designed a scalable wellness platform that transformed complex biometric data into actionable health insights.
Health Measurement Experience
Designed guided health scanning workflows using webcam-based biometric detection
Explored manual and automatic measurement models to reduce friction and increase adoption
Simplified onboarding and measurement setup for first-time users
Health Trends Dashboard
Created a scalable dashboard framework for visualizing health metrics over time
Designed trend analysis views to help users identify abnormal patterns and monitor long-term wellbeing
Introduced meeting-specific health tracking to help remote workers understand the impact of their daily schedules
Platform Architecture
Defined the information architecture across measurement, trends, profile, and educational content
Worked closely with researchers, engineers, and solution architects to align product strategy and technical constraints
Conducted concept validation and usability testing to refine the experience before launch
Outcome
Increased concept acceptance by 80% during internal testing
Contributed to a wellness service offering that generated $2M in pre-orders
Helped establish an early vision for how health monitoring could integrate into the PC ecosystem
